Arrival and Departure Details
As you prepare for your journey, you may be interested in your arrival and departure details. Since international air transportation is not included in the cost of your expedition, you have some flexibility in planning your flights. Looking to extend your adventure beyond your polar expedition? On page 15, learn how to add on a pre- or post-expedition stop—or both!—in Reykjavik or a nearby region of your choice. Arrival ARRIVING IN REYKJAVIK AND EMBARKATION IN NARSARSUAQ Please be sure to arrive at the Reykjavik-Keflavik Airport by 3pm on Day 1 of the itinerary and make your way to the check in desk for Air Iceland. An agent representing Quark Expeditions® will be available in the check in area to answer any questions you may have before boarding our private charter flight to Narsarsuaq, Greenland. Upon arrival in Narsarsuaq, you will be transferred to the ship.
PLEASE NOTE There is a strict luggage limit of 50 lbs (23 kg) checked luggage and 11 lbs (5 kg) cabin baggage on the flights between Reykjavik and Narsarsuaq. There is NO option to pay for additional luggage.
