Food & drink. Food is an integral element on both Ultramarine and Ocean Explorer voyages. In addition to enjoying fine dining inspired by cuisines from around the world, mealtime is an excellent way to connect with fellow guests and expedition team members. Our internationally trained chefs work with local experts across our far-flung destinations to source local items that provide an authentic flavor accent to food and beverage offerings. Cookies and snacks are offered at the coffee stations. Fresh pastries arrive warm from the oven for early birds about 6 am. Guests on Ultramarine can choose between the main dining room called Balena or the smaller Bistro 487. Those on Ocean Explorer have three dining options: The Observation Bistro, Main Dining Room and the Private Dining Room. Both ships offer two additional options of bars or lounges. Please inform our team of dietary restrictions when you book your voyage.
