Main Dining Room Contemporary meets cozy in this modern dining room with its stylish lighting and contemporary art. Located on Deck 5, the Main Dining Room seats 138 guests, and features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto the spectacular polar wilderness. Latitude Bar & Lounge This popular social hub is located on Deck 5. The beautifully lit bar, with its lush sofas and faux marble-topped end tables, is large enough to seat 46, and is ideal for enjoying a quiet drink on your own or hanging out with friends. Observation Bistro With its marine blue and off-white colors, the Observation Bistro is your go-to spot for lighter fare—and unparalleled polar views. This relaxed eatery seats up to 44 guests. Observation Lounge & Bar Guests frequent this stylish lookout at the top of the ship to witness the stunning vistas, and enjoy cocktails and conversation with fellow travelers. Seats 63. Explorer Lecture Lounge Guests convene in this Deck 5 lounge to attend presentations by polar experts and have a drink to discuss the day’s polar adventures.
Balena Balena is our finer dining restaurant on Ultramarine , serving contemporary cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner with capacity to seat all guests and the entire expedition team at the same time. Globally inspired dishes and regional specialties often feature locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. Balena, designed so that every seat has a good view, provides direct access onto the wraparound deck. Ambassadors Theater Ambassadors is the main presentation space on Ultramarine , where guests enjoy informative talks and presentations from expedition staff, polar experts, and special guests. The Ambassadors bar is open during presentation hours and special events. Panorama Lounge The Panorama Lounge on Deck 7 is the main bar on Ultramarine and features spectacular forward views, comfortable seating and a friendly atmosphere, offering an array of specialty cocktails, 24-hour coffee and tea, plus a well- stocked polar library. Bistro 487 Bistro 487 is the more casual restaurant serving extended breakfast, lunch, and dinner to accommodate those who rise early or late or simply want a change of scenery. Bistro 487 serves quicker meals and afternoon snacks. With access to outdoor seating on the aft deck, Bistro 487 is ideal for guests who like to enjoy a coffee or cocktail outdoors.
Exceptional cuisine is integral to the expedition experience. Our internationally trained chefs draw inspiration from global flavors and accommodate all dietary requests indicated at booking,
with vegan and vegetarian options always available.
Cookies and snacks are offered at coffee stations, warm pastries are served from around 6 a.m., and complimentary wine, select beers, and cocktails are served during bar hours and dinner.
