Polar Plunge As madcap as it looks, willingly jumping into the bone-chilling Arctic waters has become a polar rite of passage—and the photo ops are priceless. Dare yourself to take the plunge.

Sea Kayaking Sea kayaking along rugged coastlines and through calm bays with an experienced guide offers one of the most inspiring ways to explore the pristine Arctic. Guests in the sea kayaking program typically enjoy multiple paddling excursions during their expedition. This adventure option is weather-dependent.

Zodiac Cruising These polar-sturdy, reinforced rubber skiffs whisk you safely from the ship to the remote shorelines and back, taking you into the shallow waters that the ship can’t reach. Touring by Zodiac while looking out for wildlife is an intimate and relaxing way to explore Arctic bays and inlets.

Flightseeing Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the Arctic— icebergs, glaciers, snow-capped peaks, expansive waterways, fjords— while seated comfortably in one of Ultramarine ’s two twin-engine helicopters. Looking down upon the magnificent Arctic wilderness will give you a unique perspective of the polar environment.

Paddling Excursion A guided, one-time paddle enables you to enjoy your polar surroundings from a unique and intimate perspective. Just imagine yourself gliding on a stable, sit-on-top kayak, at one with the water, experiencing the Arctic at its most tranquil. That’s the kind of memory that will last forever.

Tundra to Table Tundra to Table is our award-winning culinary experience, offered in two distinct editions. In Greenland, Inuit chefs from the Igapall Culinary Collective share the flavors and traditions of Greenland, while in Iceland, expert Icelandic chefs guide guests through a tasting menu rooted in the land and sea.

Guided Photography Program Designed for photographers of all levels, this add-on gives you priority boarding on the first Zodiacs each day, guided by the same professional photographer throughout. With a maximum of 16 guests, you’ll receive expert advice, tips, and feedback both on excursions and in onboard workshops—exploring more and shooting better along the way.

Exclusive Heli-Landing You’ll be transported in small groups on Ultramarine ’s two twin-engine helicopters to landing sites only accessible by air. Expect stunning aerial views from your seat in the helicopter—and yet more incredible polar vistas once you land: glaciers, icebergs, remote landscapes, wildlife and more.

Ice Sheet Experience Ascend high above the cascading coastal glaciers onto the immense polar plateau of the Greenland Ice Sheet and take in the immensity of this awe-inspiring landscape. An excursion on one of Ultramarine ’s helicopters means you’ll enjoy polar views very few others have ever experienced.

Greenland Camp Experience Join local hosts at Tasermiut Camp for a night at one of the most exclusive camps in Greenland. Enjoy an intimate small-group walk through the beautiful Greenlandic landscapes with a local chef who will identify fresh ingredients, after which you and your fellow guests will prepare an incredible meal together.
